I swear most of the time Elle Kennedy never disappoints in the Hockey Romance- especially after reading not so good ones- when I come back to read hers it’s a breath of fresh air cause she writes good ones. Like the first book in this series- I love the length of the story- it’s gives a great amount of time for the main leads - Diana and Shane - to connect and form that chemistry/connection. The plot showed growth on both characters and both had to endure some dark aspects. I was literally shocked at the end at what happened to Diana and even more pissed that we didn’t see something worse happen to Percy. Anyways- fantastic read!

This was a really cute short romance. I love Shane and Diana’s dynamic. I think it’s very wholesome and I love the way they come together naturally. Always excited to see what Elle. Kennedy does next.

This book has my whole heart. It was better than the first one, for me. Elle did an amazing job with the hard-hitting topics. They were done respectfully and felt like true responses that people would make. I cried, I laughed, and I loved this book.
And that kitchen scene 🥵🥵🔥🔥
