This book is so amazing I can barely find the words to praise it properly. This is the only full length MFM ménage that Sam Mariano has written. I wouldn’t change a thing about her m/f books nor would I want to deprive the readers of them but it’s a shame she hadn’t written more MFM. This book is enthralling start to finish.
Sebastian and Moira are happily married. Sebastian is a classic Mariano anti-hero. He’s cunning, manipulative and willing to do anything for the people he loves. When his best friend since they went through foster care together, Griffin finds himself in the midst nasty divorce with a gold-digging, cheating wife, Sebastian doesn’t hesitate.
Griff has been in love with Moira for years, even though he would never cheat on his wife or betray his best friend. When he reaches his breaking point Seb and Moira are there for him, in every way.
Sebastian’s dominance and Griff tenderness is the perfect mixture. This book is perfection in every way.
Story 5/5, Spice 5/5, Darkness 2.5/5, Angst 3/5
Fast burn, there’s some sexiness before this but MFM portion of this story kicks off around 25%. Mostly no condoms, no virgins, multiple ménage scenes, DP, lots of domination and bossiness from Sebastian, no push away from anyone and no breakups or separation. No cheating amongst MFM ménage, no cliffhanger and HEA.
Safety - Do safety readers actually read books like this? I’m not sure but I’ll include this anyway. Griff’s wife cheats on him multiple times before he finally kicks her to the curb and a nasty divorce ensues. Sebastian, Moira and Griff are faithful to their relationship. Griff does begin his relationship with them before he’s divorced but he and his cheating ex are separated.
There are other triggers in this book (suicide mentioned and murder, I’m probably forgetting others).
If you like Sam’s books, MFM or darker reads you’ll enjoy this one!

First of all I have to say that I like Sam Mariano's way of writing, a lot. There is a lot of description, but it doesn't seem excessive at all.
As for the story, I liked it.
But I didn't like Sebastian's character. Yess, Moira (his wife) likes a little roughness in sex, but somehow I didn't like Sebastian's behavior during the same. Somehow I think it's too much.I also didn't like how Moira didn't actually have a choice as far as their three-member relationship was concerned.
Griff on the other hand was gentle and that was nice, but at times he was possessive about her and seemed to want to take her from Sebastian, to have her just for himself and that made me angry. I mean, if your best friend has already given you the green light to enter into a relationship with his wife, because he loves you and doesn't want to lose you, then don't be a cunt.
Anyways, the book was readable and could be read fairly quickly.

The way this book ends was too wild for me to process, might try to finish it later

great take on smt taboo and normalizing it :) sam mariano has now become one of my favourites wow
3.5 is erotic contemporary ménage a category?
This is a bit of a lighter read from Sam Mariano. That being sad it’s ménage, and there is a bit of death in this one. Haha. So it’s not a total leap from her other books that are scandalous/taboo/mafia... but it does have more of a relatable romance in my opinion.
All in all a good read. If you like erotic ménage with some emotions and angsty relationships... Stitches hits all the boxes!

This read was downright sinful fun from beginning to end. Menage is not typically a trope I enjoy or seek but I wanted to give this a try because I was craving some of Mariano's writing, especially her somewhat questionable heroes haha. I love the dynamic between the three characters and how even though they are all flawed and exceptionally different from each other, they work so well together. However, if I have to judge it more critically, the majority of the book involved a lot of action in the bedroom, hence the reason for settling with a 3.5 stars.
This was so interesting and I love Sam Mariano even more now. So good!
