Great epic story about religion, love, and friendship. I read this book about once every three years and still love it.

Trust Erich Segal to take another well-known trope (this time of star-crossed lovers) and make it an emotional page-turner.

The wonderful story of faith, as the title indicates. I learned a lot about Judaism. Some of the plot relied a bit too much on coincidence, but that's okay. A worthwhile read.

Gloriously trashy and sweet.

I remember really enjoying this book, but it's been years since I read it.

A reread. I really enjoy this saga told from the point of view of two Jewish sibilings and a Catholic boy growing up in New York. Segal takes the reader from Brooklyn to Israel, Rome, and Brazil in this epic. I learn about Jewish culture (and pontifical politics) when I read this book.
