IM LITERALLY SCREAMING !!!

Colleen Hoover did it again! This one started kind of slow, and I thought I wouldn’t like it as much as It Ends With Us, but of course, a couple chapters in, and I was hooked! Two amazing books!

This is one of those books that you want to finish in one sitting!

HOW DO PEOPLE LOVE AND ADORE MILES I DO NOT UNDERSTAND

4.5⭐

“Miles,” I say with a smile, “you’re looking at me like you fell in love with me.”
He shakes his head. “I didn’t fall in love with you, Tate. I flew.”

Some of the things in the book were very illogical. I really did not understand why the characters do that. There were a few tropes in the book, like friends with benefits, that I did not like at all, but still enjoyed.
This book was absolutely heartbreaking and full of conflicting emotions .
Sometimes Miles and Tate were very very annoying.
This book is like that a chapter is from Tate's pov in the present and the next chapter is from Miles's pov of 6 years ago.
I was really shocked when I read about Miles's past.
The end destroyed me and also It made me happy.
I can not say that I like this book, but I think it is worth reading.
P.S: My favorite character is Cap. He's the best and he deserves the world ಠ_ಠ⁩
emotional

I told three non reader friends about the spoiler when I finished and am still not over it a week later. This book ripped me a new one. It was so bloody good, loved the characters, the switching of time periods and perspectives. It’s one of those books that will never be as good when you read it after the first time because you will forever remember how it plays out. But I enjoyed it so much the first time, that I’m ok with that —- or so I’m convincing myself

Okay hear me out.
I’m well aware this doesn’t deserve that high of a rating considering everything that happens here is pretty fucked up and irritating.
I still don’t get why we get the throwbacks we got, nothing excuses this shitty behavior and I hate dormant characters that let everyone walk all over them.
But (and there’s a big BUT here), I’m also a sucker for mentally unstable people especially when they can back their instability with a pretty big sob story.

+ to me Colleen Hoovers superpower is the unique ability to write gut wrenching sob story romances that we can’t stop reading.
