DNF - I don't enjoy the writing style and I'm sorry about that!
This was my second attempt at a Colleen Hoover book and the authors writing style just really isn't for me.

I wanted to root for Tate and Miles, but I just didn't. The writing felt lacking and their relationship was a bit cringey and had barely any substance. I spent most of the book rooting for Cap!
Not my favorite… did not enjoy many of the word choices and didn’t really like any of the characters. Made me cringe quite a bit. It was on my TBR forever, so I went for it.
My ranting of 2⭐ should be noted that I don't like romance novels. I like some romance in novels when it's a supporting fact and not the story line. Regardless, I read this for a book club. My book club raved about this one. I couldn't get past the bother and sister having sex. Ew! Yes, they were step siblings. But I've had step brothers since junior high age and it grosses me out reading this. You'd think that was the story line for a comedy not something being romanticized.

Quick easy read. A little frustrating, but that’s was the purpose to see the beautiful and the ugly side of love.

One dimensional characters and a simplistic plot that it was way too easy to see where it was going. I was waiting for a clever twist that never came.
