Cute introduction to Gar’s character for teens looking to get into comics. Absolutely gorgeous art too.

I don't know if it's because I'm an adult and have that hindsight but Gar (Beast Boy) obsessing over the popular kids and low key rejecting his actual friends bothers me.  He even says the popular people are only interested because of these videos he is posting and their interest is temporary.  Ok you know but why are you still trying to befriend them?  It feels like this book is just scratching the surface of this character. I'm left wanting more.

Another amazing book in this series! Once again, Picolo's art is absolutely incredible! I really love Gar's backstory and everything that is going on with Slade and H.I.V.E. It's very different from the Titans I know, but I love it! I can't wait for the next one in the series, I need my favorite ship to meet!!

It was better than Raven. Felt like I learn a lot about Beast Boy and while the art wasn’t great it was a step up from the previous GN.

So I ended up cramming all these books like a maniac last night, as one does, and only now am I well enough to properly ramble about them.
Ahem.

Beast Boy's story was just as entertaining and eye catching as Raven's was. I loved seeing a more fleshed out version of Garfield (that name though lmao.) with all the struggles and new friends helping him along the way.
I knew my old ship would rekindle on the third book, which is exactly why I lept on it as soon as I was done here.

I expected nothing but greatness in the third book and that's exactly what I got. Let's get to it.
