Read the book after it was recommended by Bill Gates on Goodreads, I know. But truly enjoyed reading this book, I’ve found that I struggle with fiction however this one wasn’t difficult for me to understand thankfully. The plot and the characters were great, development was even better. There is a sequel but did not want to read it, bit like inkheart, didn’t want to commit to the world and felt the first book was enough
Pacing and tropes. I didn’t like the way the main characters were written.
this was okay, i liked the premise but i just couldnt connect with the characters at all. i mostly just read this just to read it. i was interested in the truth of who the father was but that was about all i was invested in. but i did like that this was a pretty quick book to read.
Cute chick-lit novel. Not an overly new concept of a character with autism/OCD, etc - reminiscent of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, Come Thou Tortoise or Sheldon from Big Bang Theory. But funny and entertaining nonetheless.
