Have you watched Happy Face? Similar to that. A girl raised with a serial killer in the family. I love that she becomes a psychologist to try to figure things out in her family because that is what I would do also.

I kept guessing and guessing what was going on and I was wrong every time. This was not a predictable read for me at all.
This was my kind of thriller.
Loved the twists! I loved the second half more than the first half.
I was on the edge of my seat. There are some jaw dropping moments close to the end.
I thought all the characters were done very well.

this dragged on. twist was kind of unexpected but also very unimpressive. some things just didn't make any sense. I struggle with audio books but still put the speed to 1.75x just to get through it and over with. the quality wasn't "bad" and someone else that loves this genre might like it more than I did but I did not enjoy this at all.
This book was a whirlwind to read. The second half of it pulls you in.

So twisty!!! A little slow/medium paced at the start but you hit the half way mark and it sort of explodes! I was bit a like, seriously??? At the mid point reveal, but just keep going, whoever is thinking the same thing and possibly reading this, keep going, it's worth it. Checking out every other book by this authors that my library has right now!!
