Some predictability at times, but man did the ending pack a punch!!! Even though I felt like I knew some things that were coming, the build-up still had me on the edge of my seat. Highly recommend!
I would give this book 3.5 stars. It definitely didn't end the way i thought it was going. Chloe has had some hardships throughout her life and she keeps getting dragged into things. She seems to be attracted to anything that deals with police. When young girls go missing and come up dead, it makes Chloe have flashbacks of her childhood. She doesn't know who to trust. The book had some WTF moments and jaw droppers. Overall, an enjoyable book.

This book took me a long time to finish. I knew early on that there was a pretty big twist to the story and that other readers thought the twist was worth it, but you really have to read up til the veryyyy end to see it, and it didn’t even feel worth all the build up. The author really wanted you to pick out who to shift blame to really early on, so I felt like I was just waiting to figure out what was really going on for 80% of the book. Some parts of the twist also don’t make the most sense to me? But I felt like I was missing the purpose behind certain character’s decisions, which could’ve been interesting viewpoints in the book.
