Very unexpected resolution. I was a little put off by how similar the storyline was in some places to her other books but overall it was a good read.
Absolutely a page turner, but also my first instinct was right
Well this book feels slow and fast all at the same time. I didn’t see the plot twist coming so that’s always a plus when I read thriller/mystery. If anyone is worried about trigger warnings they briefly touch and reference to S.A. and S.H. Occasionally but nothing to in depth or explicit. I liked our flighty narrator, made the reader believe we were learning things in real time with them as they unraveled. The first couple chapters can seem slower paced but that’s a usual for mystery books in my opinion. A interesting read for October!
