The rating is based on the first 2 stories in the book. I really enjoyed Where Darkness Lives by [a:Alexandra Ivy|40881|Alexandra Ivy|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1303776865p2/40881.jpg] and Murder on Mysteria Lane by [a:Angie Fox|1332605|Angie Fox|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1215460648p2/1332605.jpg]. I'd give both of those stories 4 stars. They would fall under paranormal romance & mystery.
The other 2 stories I didn't care for that much. There was no romance to be found in Werewolves in Chic Clothing by [a:Tami Dane|4505225|Tami Dane|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1322072563p2/4505225.jpg] (2 stars) or What's Yours is Mine by [a:Jess Haines|3149825|Jess Haines|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1259881970p2/3149825.jpg] (2.5 stars). The mysteries weren't even that good.
This is one book I'd recommend borrowing.

This book has four anthologies in it. It’s theme is The Stepford Wives or Wives of Orange County, which is a bunch of rich women who think they are all that and that they must have the latest fashion.
As for The Real Werewives of Vampire County, to me it is not worth buying. I suggest borrowing from the library if you want to try it out. I only picked this one up for Alexandra Ivy’s novella, since I’m enjoy her Guardians of Eternity series. I did try to read the others and you can see my individual reviews below.
Where Darkness Lives (Guardians of Eternity #8.5) By Alexandra Ivy
~ 3 Stars ~
This one was about Sophia, the mother to the four werewolf daughters in the series. Sophia, I have never been a fan of. She is a total bitch and drop dead gorgeous, though the author did try to give her a more softer side and explain why she is such a bitch. Luc, is a purebred werewolf as well, drop dead sexy, and alpha to the core. These two have an instant attraction and with the werewolf magic coming back and mates being found it works. They don’t give in, but fight the attraction until they both combust with some intense sexual encounters. Their is also a mystery and I did not see who the bad guy was until it happened.
Where Darkness Lives is a good read.
Murder on Mysteria Lane By Angie Fox
~ 3 Stars ~
I was a little confused at the begging on what was happening, but soon figured it out. We get a verity of supernatural creatures from vampires to a verity of shifters. This one is a murder mystery with a werewolf who does not fit in with her pack, but has a very rear ability that is needed. She ends up having to team up with a Vampire to find the murder and they uncover something deeper and more sinister going on. It’s got the Wives of Orange County thing going. The relationship was interesting and we get a few hot and heavy scenes.
Murder on Mysteria Lane was a good read.
Werewolves in Chic Clothing By Tami Dane
~ DNF ~
I ended up DNF this one at Chapter 4. I could not figure out what was going on nor could I get into the story. Felt no connection to the characters or plot.
What's Yours Is Mine By Jess Haines
~ 2 Stars ~
This one is more urban fantasy and has no romance. It’s a women with a past looking to secure an advantage for her future, but it does not turn out as she hoped. We get rich and catty house wives, who are werewolves. I really should have DNF this one too. It just did not work for me.

The Real Werewives of Vampire County by Alexandra Ivy, Angie Fox , Tawny Taylor, and Jess Haines
Come on with a title like that you know I just had to get it.
Where Darkness Lives by Alexandra Ivy takes place in the world of her Guardians of Eternity series which I admit I’ve not read. I enjoyed the story but would probably have gotten more out of it if I had read the series.
Murder on Mysteria Lane by Angie Fox was the other reason for me buying this book. I LOVE Ms. Fox’s Demon Slayer books. As far as I’m concerned this story was worth the price of the book. Not that the others were bad just that this one had me laughing my butt off. I could totally relate to Heather McPhee.
Werewolves in Chic Clothing by Tami Dane was an enjoyable mystery.
What’s Yours is Mine by Jess Haines was my least favorite of all the offerings. I couldn’t relate to any of the characters and thus didn’t get as involved in the story.
All in all I enjoyed this book.

I only read the short by Alexandra Ivy. I didn't think I'd like this since the main character has been such a pain in the other books, but it worked out nicely. Good short.

I really enjoyed the short stories in this anthology. I would especially love to read more about Heather and Lucien and how their partnership continued. I liked the setting and the supernatural angle and the comedy aspect thrown in.
