Elliott is a terrible human and I’m leaning towards stating he’s one of the worst fictional main characters/narrator I’ve ever read (I prefer not to read books where the narrator is a bad guy). The man is delusional, a liar, two-faced and I’m not surprised he ended up killing Lana. I was expecting him to somehow poison the entire group once it was revealed that everything was an act, but her death was kind of their fault anyway. They could have tied him up (and kept their comments/gloating to themselves, or until he was out of earshot) while waiting for the police (?) to take him away.
