Five out of five chilli peppers.
This one had even less plot which I didn't even think was possible.
It's Sick Boys in a different font. While reading, I asked myself, "how? literally how?" so many times. I think this was even darker than Sick Boys too because there was more murder, and that one torture scene had me gagging in my mouth.

The start of the relationship with blackmail and the 3 boys was so similar to her last book. I liked what a bad ass she was and her fierce protection of Nathan's little sister. The crystal twist with her revealing the pictures and the being kidnapped was interesting. I'm guessing the next book is her story.

wowwwwww, this book was so good. it had the perfect balance between plot & smut, and the mmc's were absolutely scrumptious. i enjoyed reading about a fmc that could stand up for herself and did not need a man to protect her, Lana is a badass. now don't even get me started on Kai cause that man had me giggling and kicking my feet.

Basically just fan fiction without the brilliance of an author whose first language isn’t english.

This story was like all my past relationships, though sadly not in the literal way: I stuck around for way too long because I’m a sucker for potential even if the rest isn’t worth it.

I wanted to DNF SO BAD.
I usually don’t do harsh reviews and opt for none at all if I didn’t like a book. This one, however, is difficult for me cause I really wanted to like it!

I’m actually kinda sad… I do like the boys but the book didn’t do them justice and genuinely hope others can enjoy it more. I feel like Kai, Milo and Nathan deserve it.

Cause the boys are gold, Kai has enough bad boy daddy vibes and Milo is so precious I’d probably read the entire book just to make him feel loved.

As I said, there’s so much potential - in the plot and the other characters. Still most of them are flat and Lana is seriously dumb…

Ultimately, it’s the writing style that broke the deal. It was all very superficial and not very stringent. It makes me angry - a lot of repetition and boring revelations, way too much cramped into the story, unrealistically easy solutions and out of the blue fighting skills. And if I ever read the word SLICE as a sound effect again I might lose it.
Also “gyrate”?!
It felt like a slide story on TikTok and I honestly wonder if anyone ever read it twice before publishing. At least easy plot mistakes could have been avoided…
though I’m sorry to report that I’ve read worse and ultimately I finished it.
