This book started off strong because it met my interest in true crime, gore, mixed with smut. TikTok hyped this book so much, but by the 40% mark it went from 4 stars to 3. Every chapter is the same. There’s no character development, and if I never have to read “he smashes his lips into mine” or “o-shaped mouth” again..that’s fine by me. This book is so lackluster and just feels like a teenagers idea of what smut should be.

This was an interesting and mind boggling story, this was first introduction to a very dark romance and I have to say it was one wild ride! the plot was a bit lost in the middle however it became more intriguing (plot wise) towards the end. Also does Lana count as a Stockholm syndrome victim ??? or no
