As Good As Dead Collector's Edition by Holly Jackson

An absolute character assassination of one of my favorite MCs. Wish I hadn’t read this last book and stopped at GGBB. Yeah. This was not it Queen Holly.

Also
after the Andie email reveal about someone in the house with her being DT, how did Pip immediately not go to Jason. Like actually. Let’s think about how intuitive and efficient Pip was with clues/evidence in the first two books…i get that she had a lot going on in this book if you know what I mean but ffs girl. you’re THE murder girl. Still love this series and author. Just disappointed with this read

While Pip isn’t as naive as she was two books ago, there is still just a lot in this novel that represents a more juvenile perspective on life and that makes the story unrealistic. I love the romance and family elements that were included in this latest installment. I’m surprised, in a way, about Pip’s actions and her acceptance of them but lean towards believe that she did what was best.

Woah what an ending! I was very attached to this series and a bit overwhelmed with this finale.. This book consists of two "unofficial" halfs. In the first half Pip deals with herself and what happened in the past
which includes her having panic attacks, being dependent on drugs for her sleep and being  a traumatized teenager.
. This part was very realistic but also very hard to get through. Pip tries to deal with everything by herself and shuts down her honest relationships.

Half way through, this whole coin flips and the pacing starts picking up. I really can´t tell you what´s about to happen but it´s intense and quite disturbing. We still get the most lovely interactions between Ravi and Pip which melts my heart just thinking about it. I really liked the topics that were indirectly questioned like morality and justice.

I´ll keep it short: I was really suprised by the twists, turns and details, maybe it was a little bit crazy but I guess that´s the vibe. Didn´t loved reading the beginning because of the topics which made it hard to get into the book but overall enjoyed it!

This had me going up and down with my ratings. First and foremost I always suspected Pip had OCD but now I’m SURE of it. She needed help even before she was traumatized 🫠 Follow her on a journey where she has become completely disenchanted with the judicial system. I can’t say I’m a fan of the ending but it did make sense 🤷🏼‍♀️

Holy shit this is such a good series. Potential spoilers - trying to keep it as spoiler free as possible while gently brushing over what happens in the first 2 books.

Pippa Fitz-Amobi is crumbling, she’s been through too much trauma and it’s overtaking her. She’s found out the truth about Andie Bell’s murder, she has uncovered the mystery behind the disappearance of Jamie Reynolds, and she has witnessed a murder. Pip has blood on her hands and a gun in her heart. She’s not herself, she feels a completely different person to that happy-go-lucky girl she was before she started the Andie Bell case. Not only that, she’s now got a stalker who’s threatening to kill her. Pip’s struggles can only be saved by one person. One last case, save herself to save herself.

Holly Jackson has written an amazing YA thriller series. While I guessed the plot twist of who the stalker was but had NO IDEA WHERE IT WAS GOING IN PART 2! Awesome. Such a fast-paced and wickedly twisted thrill-ride of emotions and chaos. Each book is so interconnected and it all comes down to this final one.
