In the first like 80% of the book I was all in. He had me in the clutches of the story… but that ending just didn’t do it for me.
The ending was just not in the direction that I thought it was going to take, and it just didn’t have the same vibe as the rest of the story. I am all for twists and turns, but I feel like had the ending gone a bit of a different direction, it would have been better. I’m just left so disappointed after loving the first 3/4 of the book.

Book Review: The Other Emily by Dean Koontz ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was definitely a different type of book than I usually read! It is a mixture of science fiction and thriller. The book had me guessing until the end! Has lots of puzzle pieces you have to put together to get the whole picture. Would definitely recommend!

The first 90% of the book was great-and felt like old dean koontz. There were moments where I was holding my breath. The last 15-20 pages felt rushed and were so disappointing. There are so many ways the story could have gone. And time travelers using human avatars was probably the most banal. I was so frustrated by the ending.
