King of Nothing is Book One in Mona Black’s Dark, Why Choose, Peter Pan/Lost Boys Retelling - Brutal Never Boys series. It ends on a cliffhanger. These books are scheduled for rapid release.

Wendy is an average young woman living an average existence. She has always felt like she didn’t quite fit in. Different. One day, she’s accosted on the street and her rescuer saves her but at a price. She has been kidnapped to Neverland.

Peter Pan and the Lost Boys have been waiting for this Wendy for many years. She’s their hope of breaking a magical curse on themselves and the island. They’ll just have to break her first to do it.

This is NOT the Disney version you grew up with. This retelling is dark and gritty. The characters are flawed.   The Lost Boys are morally gray Alphaholes who are loyal to each other and determined to do whatever is necessary to break the curse. The world building is wonderful with an array of magical creatures. I look forward to finding out what happens in book two.
