honestly one of the best sci-fi books of all time i get why steven spielberg read this and made his movie less than 3 years after the book was published

but seriously this book does not miss a BEAT. there's something so impressive about making a book full of scientific terminology that's somehow not isolating in terms of language and also extremely engaging like ohhhhh michael crichton cooked!
