I feel so weird about this one. I absolutely loved the beginning. And while I know some have issues with Grace and Hudson I full adore and am obsessed with their relationship. It's so sweet and hilarious. I love that they challenge each other and support each other. They held this book together for me. That is where all the stars are going. Because when it comes to the plot about half way through it's where I am the most confused. The vague idea of the plot makes sense to me and I like it. How it played out and how random and quick some parts were was so odd. Especially compared to the first two books. It was moments like when she just randomly gets 3 million dollars. It felt strange. With all of that said though I still had a wonderful time with this book and still can't wait to continue the series.

This book took me a while to get through just because life... and a reading slump... but when I did take the time to sit and read it, it drew me in and it was hard to put down. The story continues to develop and deepen and I am interested to see what's next! #teamhudsonforever

In the middle I started to doubt the trajectory of the story, but I shouldn’t have. Very excited to keep reading the series.

What a masterpiece. But literally, I can’t even explain how much I loved this book! It definitely exceeded my expectations.

After Jaxon and Grace end their relationship her and Hudson fly to the blood-queen where they find out some devastating information.
Cyrus is gunning for both Grace and Hudson  determined to lock them up in hells prison and be tortured but finding an allusive crown may give Grace enough power to stop a war before it begins.
The group of friends travel many places to find a lead on where the crown might be including the Giants home.
Being arrested is the last thing they would want but unfortunately they couldn’t run forever especially once they found out what has put Jaxon in such a dark and cold mind frame.
What more could this series have in store!
