So far my least favorite in the series. I felt the whole Circle position we fought for as such a big part of the last book was thrown to the side and meant very little to the story which was odd. I love the concept and many of the characters but listening to Grace’s monologue was getting on my nerves by half way through.

Also why did she say Macy doesn’t ’accept her as she is’ when she’s fighting the giants? Cause she REFUSES to tell Macy her favorite color isn’t hot pink? That’s on you girl. Also, it felt cheap that at the end Luca just gets killed so suddenly and then jaxon dies only for Nuri to bring just him back? Makes Luca’s death feel pointless other than to make us sad? Will it have relevance later? A supporting love interest character literally already died at the same location in the last book so doing it again feels repetitive.

Poor Jaxon. Poor Hudson. My Jaxon. My Hudson. But I love him, but I also love him. I’m sorry Jaxon. I’m sorry Hudson. Jaxon. Hudson. Jaxon. Hudson. But Jaxon. But Hudson. Jaxon? Hudson? JAXON. HUDSON. SHUT THE HELL UP GRACE.

Now it probably seems like I hated it…I actually liked it but I hated Grace’s POV. She is so annoying, whiny, stupid, and indecisive when there’s no reason to be. Most, if not all of the problems, could have been avoided if Grace wasn’t such a crybaby. Hudson deserved so much more.

Un libro ricco di avvenimenti e, ciò nonostante, troppo breve: la trama ti cattura e non vedi l'ora di sapere cosa accadrà nel capitolo successivo. Ad alcuni personaggi, forse, poteva essere dedicato più spazio, ma ci sarà tempo nei prossimi libri della serie.

A book full of events and, nevertheless, too short for me: the plot captures you and you can't wait to know what will happen in the next chapter. Perhaps more space could have been dedicated to some characters, but there will be time in the next books of the series.
