Didn’t really enjoy the love triangle in this part of the series. Especially because if braking the mating bond shattered Jaxon’s soul why they wanted to break the bond between Grace and Hudson and risk the same thing happening to Hudson. Like is Hudson just second class citizen and it is okay to break his soul but Jaxins needs to be fixed? But I am glad the soul repair part got taken care in an another way.
Otherwise funny and entertaining book.

I felt like this book had too slow of a pace for me personally. I really liked the first book in the series, then I kind of liked the second book, and this book is making me not want to finish the series. A lot of this book felt like filler pages and I genuinely think that a lot of the plot was long and drawn out.
I think it also doesn't help that I'm not a huge fan of the love triangles that involve siblings. The series is clearly based off of other vampire-themed shows/movies but this one is resembling too much of a certain tv show (if you know, you know). I feel like the only thing that got "resolved" in this book was making it more clear how Grace feels about Hudson, but I was more interested in the actual development of the primary conflict (i.e. taking down Cyrus) which I feel like didn't develop at all.
Overall, I'm taking a break from this series. I'm not super motivated to return to it at this time but we'll see what happens in the future.
