These books get wilder and wilder each time. The relationship aspect is way healthier than twilight though. And Grace is much cooler that bella ever was lol
The story is dragging on a bit but the most important thing is the narrators and their horrendous attempts at a British accent. Tim Paige please do better
More paranormal creatures, the dreaded love triangle, and a ton of exploring outside of the academy.
I enjoyed this book more than the previous books in the series. However, Wolff did spend way more time than necessary focused on the romantic dynamic between Grace, Hudson, and Jaxson. The book could have been a third shorter if readers weren't dragged down Grace's faux dilemma. Romance aside, the relationship between Grace and Hudson has organic growth that readers will appreciate.
The group spends significantly less time at the academy and readers are introduced to more paranormal creatures. The action is detailed and consistent with a few surprises. There are light moments and some tragedies in store for readers. Fan-favorite Flint is more active in this book, along with other new characters.
I look forward to the fourth and final book releasing later this year!

"—Escúchame bien, Grace Foster. Estoy enamorado de ti. No de una humana. No de una gárgola. De ti. Y estoy enamorado de la chica que tiene el corazón más grande del mundo entero y que tiene el puto valor de exigirle que se arrodille a sus pies si le hace daño a alguien a quien quiere." Lo mucho que amo a Hudson
I have mixed feelings about this book. While the the love triangle/new love interest was exciting, it also happened a bit fast for my taste. But at the same time the plot was rather slow sometimes, which made it harder for me to pick the book up again.
I still like Grace and her development, and I do like Hudson, however, the second book was much better in my opinion.
The ending still has me wondering what happens next, as I am still invested in the plot somehow.
