I mean these are for sure YA books and written like a teenager is thinking. Which I guess was the goal. But I really enjoy them all the same so whatever. A little more time passes which I appreciate. The characters were great in this one. Got to know the ones we had a bit more, but also some quality side character development

I love these books so so much. Truly cannot put them down. This world, the characters, the plot. Incredible. Hudson is still husband.
I loved this book but I would have loved it no matter what happened. I think my only criticism is the whole prison part, I feel like that kind of dragged and didn't move the story along that much. To be fair though all I wanted out of this book was some good Hudson and Grace scenes and maybe a few answers to the questions I had after Crush. This book definitely delivered that, so five starts from me. Obsessed with the NY scenes and the fight scene in prison (have already reread both of those parts multiple times). Obviously some unanswered questions still (looking at you emerald green string) and very excited for the last book.
I had to take a break from this book. The characters are really starting to get to me. They try and act a lot older than they really are. Super dramatic when events occur but then they’re over it in 5 seconds. Whiney. I think I expected more character growth by now, but it’s very poor. Unsure if I’ll continue with the series. May be a little too YA for me.

what a whirlwind of emotions this book was!!! the progression of hudson and grace’s relationship, the losses and the near-losses, the power of family and so much more. this was an excellent 3rd book to the series and i am so eager to get started on the 4th and see how they all kick cyrus’ ass!
fuck if i know where the plot went in this one. and im not sure the author knows where it went either. there were some great moments, some good plot twists. but jesus christ this one felt like a punishment having to read it
