The quests and the absolute angst around the mating bond! This book is probably my favorite so far. I’d drool all over Hudson
This is the third book in the series and it was an enjoyable read. I had a break after book two so I didn't burn out so I think that's why this then took me a while to get back into but once I did it was an easy read. My main criticism with this is that Grace can be a bit of a martyr and I found her hesitation and indecisive behaviour annoying. It doesn't make her a bad person to seize her own happiness. I was also irritated by her non-disclosure regarding what the bloodletter disclosed as it could have been the very answer to Jaxon's current situation and it seemed like a huge plot hole as it was never even considered as an option.
I found the first half quite slow before it then upped the pace and was then like a runaway train and I enjoyed the last half of this much more mostly I think because of the faster pace. Whilst I found Grace at times irritating Hudson for me was my stand-out favourite character. I bloody adore his sarcastic arse and he is just so patient and understanding. He's the perfect blend of vulnerability crossed with power and he'd burn the world down for Grace I found his devotion extremely endearing. I really wish we got his POV in this series and no the few snippets included were not nearly enough.
Overall this series for YA is entertaining and easy to get lost in. I'm enjoying this much more than I'd imagined I would when I first picked this up. YA is very hit and miss for me usually the former but this one I'm liking and I'm still planning on reading book four in the future.

I loved the first two books, but this one I could not put down.
I feel like (SPOILERS)
Grace is a bit annoying and trying so hard to hold on to her mating bond with Jaxon when it flows so easily with Hudson, also being with Jaxon would prevent him from finding his REAL mate so I felt myself getting frustrated with whatever complex she was dealing with, HOWEVER, the author caught her traumas very well because emotions aren’t always explainable anyway. I enjoyed the different adventures the characters went on. I find this series to be super easy to read and almost a cozy read to me.
I don’t like the weird age gap with vampires and mating with a half human 200 years younger but also I’ve read worse so

After the ending of Crush I was thrilled to finally be able to get my hands on Covet, and overall I really enjoyed this book!
In the beginning I was disappointed that we didn’t pick up immediately where we left off after the ending of Crush, but at about 10 pages in I got over that. I was captivated and I even think the writing in this book was better than the first and second. With each book published Tracy Wolff manages to improve even more on the writing. The romance in this book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I absolutely could not put this down!
I will say, there are some chapters that felt a little bit like filler and could have been left out but otherwise I have 0 complaints! In Covet we got to explore more of the paranormal universe Tracy Wolff has created in the Crave universe, and it made the story that much more exciting. I am now counting down the days until I can get my hands on book 4!!

Okay wow!!!! This one has the most action of all so far and it was so much more fun than I expected!! Honestly the last 1/4 was probably my favorite but the whole book was very fun and Grace’s growth in this book is pretty exponential
I’m giving it a 2.75- this is my higher ranked one yet! Was it good? Still- no. But it was my favorite out of all them, despite it having probably the least “action.” I think I am realizing I am not an action for the sake of action girlie. I’m gonna take a little break and we shall see if I come back to them.

Literally what has this series become? 🥴
These books went from being Twilight to The Vampire Diaries. Don’t get me wrong both are good, but there’s a reason I will reread/rewatch Twilight anytime and still haven’t finished The Vampire Diaries to this day 👀 This stupid, unnecessary love triangle has become the bane of my existence, and of course just like The Vampire Diaries, she’s going to end up with the toxic, more annoying option just because he’s swoon-worthy 🙄 (They literally get into pointless arguments practically every other chapter and are so annoying together). Also the subplots and side characters we spend so much time with even though they don’t pan out to much later on is so frustrating. The first book I didn’t even notice its length, but these last two I have felt all 700 pages each time. In the first book, everything we spent time on made sense and mattered later, now we spend pages and pages talking about parties or hairstyles that literally don’t matter even in the next chapter. As if that wasn’t enough, the overall storylines have become a big joke. The first book was genuinely intriguing fantasy, but the second and third are just so goofy and ridiculous. It feels like a bad Scooby Doo episode where we’re constantly chasing the next “big bad” with pointless obstacles and side quests sprinkled throughout. I will not be continuing on in this series, and for me, Crave will be considered a standalone. 🤷♀️

This series is captivating. I had to slow my reading down as I know the inevitable pit is coming when I finally finish. Another incredible read.Highly recommend.
