I thought this book was a little longer than it should have been and dragged some, but other than that, I loved it! I enjoyed seeing Hudson and Grace’s relationship progress and the new characters!

I feel like this series has just gotten better the longer it goes on! (Or maybe it’s just because I love Hudson a LOTTTTTT more than jaxson). Anyways I would definitely recommend reading. I almost DNFed the first book and now I’m glad I didn’t. Can’t wait to see how the next book turns out!

The writing for these books has always been bad, but there was at least a fun guilty pleasure element to it with the story itself. This book was ridiculously hard to get through. She could have cut out 2/3 of this book that just repeated Grace's exact same internal monologue over Hudson and Jaxon. Was planning on reading the series for fun, but this book was not enjoyable. Only reason I did not DNF was so I could write this review.

"Rido perché l'unica alternativa sarebbe piangere e quello già l'ho fatto"

Devo dire che la recensione non differisce granché da quella di Crush. Ripropongo dunque le due più grandi problematiche (tralasciando l'imbarazzante triangolo amoroso)
-la quarta parete viene, per così dire, infranta. Basta far dire alla protagonista frasi come "ma questo non è un libro", "se fossi stata in un romanzo", "ma questo non è un libro" e via discorrendo. Poteva essere accettabile (non da me personalmente, ma è una questione di gusto) la prima, la seconda volta..... Alla quinta direi anche basta.
-la protagonista afferma di non poter essere più sconvolta più di tanto.... Per poi sconvolgersi un rigo più sotto (???) Prima dice "ormai niente mi sorprende da quando sono arrivata alla Katmere bla bla" e due righe più sotto "se qualcuno mi avesse detto *avvenimento incredibile* avrei creduto che avessero battuto la testa/fossero dei pazzi/mi stessero prendendo in giro/ecc.". Il fatto è che questo schema è stato ripetuto una volta di troppo
Ammetto però, la trama sta prendendo una piega interessante, non è la definizione di originalità, ma riesce comunque ad attirare. Il livello di scrittura, è decisamente superiore rispetto al primo libro, ma niente di che, lo definirei passabile, nulla di eccezionale
