The things I loved; the characters (all the female characters), the second half, the detail, the originality.
The things I hated; the guy (duh), how confusing it was to keep up with which POV was doing what, minor plot “inconveniences”, the first half of the book.
Graphic: Death and Gore
Minor: Domestic abuse

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC! All thoughts and opinions are my own. I really, REALLY enjoyed this book. It was realistic (unfortunately), unique, and modern without excessive pop culture references, which is a hard feat to achieve. I'm a sucker for multiple POV stories in general, and this one did not disappoint. Each main character was easy to root for and relate to, and I particularly appreciated how these POVs followed the three victims and didn't try to romanticize or glamorize the murderer. I especially think that having the main characters be ghosts was a unique and daring way to portray this story, and while I'm usually picky about paranormal elements, I thought it was done really well here. The overall story also conveyed such a wide range of emotions, came perfectly full-circle, and was excellent from start to finish (I read the entire thing in almost one sitting). I can't recommend this original, badass thriller enough, and am so incredibly excited to see what Noelle W. Ihli writes next!
