This book offered an intriguing perspective I hadn't read from before! Unfortunately, the audiobook narrator didn't offer much distinction between the different character POV's on top of a disorganized timeline. There also wasn't any mysterious or thrilling elements to the plot either which made it all rather dull. What seemed to be a story full of potential turned out to primarily be a "day in the life" of a serial killer with some body-horror thrown in to amp up the intensity.

I was really hesitant to give this one a chance when I saw that it had “paranormal” elements in it but I am so glad I didn’t let it stop me. This was a really unique book and experience. There are a lot of parts that could have been improved a little but gah, what a wild ride!

The amount of characters and the jumping around was a little bit much for me but other than that, I loved almost everything about it. It had me going through ALL of the emotions! Frustration, sadness, anxiety and at the end I felt all of the closure.

The premise of following literal ghosts around in their version of the afterlife sounds crazy at first but it was a one of a kind experience being able to see something like a thriller from that perspective. Knowing they can’t really change anything that is happening, just watching it unfold, wanting to save the next girl but never being able to just reach out and help. It makes you feel all kinds of helpless and frustrated but ultimately that leads to such a good and satisfying conclusion that the built up emotions come out in the best ways.

I would without a doubt recommend this book to all of my thriller readers! 👻

Ask for Andrea was a quick paced thriller from Kindle Unlimited. I have read another book by this author before, Run on Red. This story is one fans of true crime will love. It follows the ghosts of three girls all murdered by the same man as they follow their cases and this serial killer. I thought it was unique in the fact that it followed the victims’ ghosts in a realistic way. It didn’t seem too unbelievable that it detracted from the story
