Absolutely stunning read that I could not put down. When Barney gets a custodian job at Dead End, he doesn't expect to fight demons and angels and time-travelling wizards from the far future. A wonderfully diverse main cast of characters: a gay trans man, an autistic South Asian girl, their talking dog, and the apocalypse (sorta). Incredibly funny, heartbreakingly poignant, and a devastatingly sad ending leave me wanting the next volume immediately.
