This was such an amazing work of art!!! I think it's such an intricate and beautiful story about the struggles and survival of being Haitian and a Haitian immigrant during different periods of time. It's definitely allows for tons of analysis and each story is connected to each other in so many different ways and it's just so well written. It's about culture, family, ancestors, self discovery I could go on but it just covers such wide variety of topics. It's also such an easy read I got through it in one sitting because it was so interesting. Highly recommend!!!
