I read this series so fast, physically couldn’t put books down. I read this before the movies came out as preparation and that might have been a slight mistake because it made expect way more from them. I fell in love with John Ambrose immediately and I will always be team John. Peter is the ideal popular boy loves nerd but it just never sat right with me how he felt for Gen and then Lara. John was the perfect boyfriend anyone would dream of yet she still chose Peter.

2.5, good start, boring finish. Should have been a single longer book.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!

i got through the first book(somehow) then on chapter 20 of the second book, i give up. the changing of date(past and present) was confusing at times, especially when there are chapters with the others' point of view.

Conrad is just not worth it. i get it, he's hot and all that, but he's an asshole and he only cares about himself. Belly could have had Cameron, or atleast, Jeremiah. either of them is so much better than Conrad. i don't know which one she ends up with cause like i mentioned, i didn't even finish the second book. but the point is Belly was being so stupid and foolishly inlove with Conrad. i was basically just forcing myself to finish this trilogy but i was just getting sick of everything happening on the story. i usually don't hate on book characters but Conrad is really infuriating me. he's just a jerk and he always surrounds himself with pretty girls but has the nerve to get jealous when a guy gets close to Belly.

there were a lot more scenes that didn't make sense and are ridiculous that i'm not gonna mention anymore,i don't even want to remember them. i just wasted my time reading this. really not worth the hype.

I love this series with my whole heart. Perfectly adorable romance with a great representation of sisterly relationships. The first one is the strongest of the three for me but I still love the whole series overall.

I read these specifially because I liked the Netflix movies and decided to read the books. Overall they were what I expected. An easy ready, cute high school romance, and teenagers growing up. I did have to get used to the writing style because it was not very uniform but over all a good series.

The story was so heartwarming and I didn’t really like Kavinsky’s character I really liked the whole focus on her family and her dad and trina’s marriage it was nice
