I didn't expect this book to be filled with short stories but I can't think of a better introduction to Sherlock Holmes.

Short, quick reads for reminding yourself how dumb you are (at least compared to Holmes).

this was the perfect book for me to get back into reading! i love the bbc tv series, and the structure of it being a collection of shorter stories rather than one big one meant it was easy to pick up and read a whole story when i had the time.

Sherlock Holmes is probably one of my favorite characters, and all of these stories were absolutely fantastic

Absolutely brillant! Great stories! Perfect short stories to read while sitting by a cozy wood fire. Highly recommend.

I was actually kind of disappointed by this?? I’ve always LOVED the character of Sherlock in various movies and TV Shows so I was excited to finally read some of the stories. Turns out it wasn’t as exciting to read. Sherlock just gives you his deductive reasoning without a chance to solve it yourself, so it’s pretty dry reading. However his character comes across in the page exactly as on the screen!
