SPOLIER

I liked this book.. for the most part. It was okay! It was an easy read in the beginning, I was captivated by the characters and romance. However once Leo’s secret was revealed … it all just fell a bit flat. The characters have the same arguments over and over… and it means less each time. I thought the ending totally fell flat. I was on my toes in the beginning… kept going through the middle and expected to be rewarded at the end by an overwhelming love story and romance. A happily ever after. Whilst they share a kiss… I wish there would have been more passion. More conversation. Something to make me sit up, pay attention and have that ‘omgggg omg omg’ squeezing every muscle in my body in anticipation feeling. Instead, I lay on the sofa.. scan reading an average and unsatisfying ending.

The whole story was okay, but I wish more happened in it and it had a little more depth. It got repetitive after a while.

It always impresses me when an author can make ultra-famous people feel so real. Frustrating at times, but you cannot help but root for these two.

it was alright. the kind of book best enjoyed by the beach or pool

So happy these two psychos found each other so they don't poison anyone else with their toxic bs. Characters were so well written that they drove me nuts.

“He said, It makes a lot of sense. She prefers the kind of fantasy she can control.”

What a fantastic book! Perfect for fans of Taylor Jenkins Reid, "The View Was Exhausting" is a captivating read from start to finish. At its core, this is a love story, complete with all the best tropes: fake dating, miscommunication, enemies to lovers, and lots of drama.

Mikaella Clements and Onjuli Datta offer an insightful look into the lives of the rich and famous, seamlessly blending romance with the pressures and complexities of celebrity life. There was never a dull moment—I was enthralled the entire time and could never predict what would happen next.

If you're looking for a book that combines romance, intrigue, and a peek behind the curtain of fame, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

The perfect summer read, certainly *the* read of summer 2024 for me ☀️⛱️
