This book picks up right where the prequel Blood Lust ends (you’ll have to read that)
The banter /fighting between Ottavia and Eoin - I LOVE it !!!! I love to see it!!!
This book focuses more on the relationship that Ottavia and Eoin are forming … & if you read Blood Lust, know that Ottavia does NOT go down without a fight! And he loves that about her! That she’s strong, strong-willed and not afraid.
I liked reading that what she thought she knew and grew up learning about vampires aren’t true and she was misinformed on a lot and now she’s learning about them and seeing them in a different light.
Ottavia and Eoin are definitely falling for each other even though they are trying to convince themselves that is not what is happening and I can’t wait to see their bond and love grow and how they’ll be with each other once the admit their feelings to themselves
