I believe PLOT wise this is one of her stronger ones (although I haven't read the other sibligns story besides Luca and Dion) I do not think I'll read the other siblings because they did not seem too interesting in any of the other books.

Sierra and Xaviers story was interesting to read and I feel like the tension between them was real and built up very nicely in the prior books (although you do not have to read them in order). I do stand by my earlier statement that Maura seems to be a writer that tends to pack way too much plot lines into a story and then it sort od unravels in a way that I particularly do not enjoy but maybe others will.

I also feel like Xavier family is this dark family that use to be criminals but we do not really get more character development I feel in that area but it didn't bother me so much. Idk if I would recommend this series but it was on KU so if you want something quick and keeps you interested then yeah.

Sierra was honestly my fav character throughout the series and I was so eager to read her book. I genuinely liked the first half of the book, and I loved their chemistry. It was all too adorable, the little schemes and rivalry to the wholesome confessions. But the second half just threw me off. I mean firstly, from being a bossgirl who doesn't tolerate bs to becoming this fragile unresistant woman who let her husband walk all over her...it just didn't sit well with me. Xavier's behavior really annoyed me. His trauma and fears were understandable but his treatment of sierra throughout their marriage really bothered me.
I'm glad he groveled the right way-the apology gift in the end was the best thing ever!
