It’s no secret I’m a huge sucker for “It was always you” and this book delivered.

Everything about this man screams SIMP and I ate it up.
Don’t even get me started on the groveling.
And I absolutely love how HARD Sierra stood her ground. Even his family was against him.

The first half of this book was absolutely top tier, 5⭐️
I didn’t love the third act conflict. The situation and reasoning was great but the pacing was off, so the drama was rushed but the resulting emotional runoff took too long and went too far.
Also, while she got to hear about some of the things he did for her, I don’t know that she ever got a reveal of the wine and her favourite foods at the restaurant?

I have been waiting for Sierra’s book since book one and secretly hoping it was with Xavier and let me tell you as always Cat did not disappoint god these two were absolutely precious I loved everything about this book
