What a great ending to this series. I knew Sierra was a romantic and a women that was strong. The love she has for her family and Xaviers is love of true family that extended to Xaviers family especially his sister who needed someone that wasn't family to be there for her. Losing Grandma Anne was so heartbreaking. They had such a special bond, but for Xaviers family to be there for Sierra even when Sierra and Xavier were not on good terms. She knew what love from brothers and sister were but to have love of Xaviers parents was chefs kiss to me. I knew Xavier was not just a business man, but to understand why makes you get him better and understand the person he acts to be. He truly loved Sierra before they both realized and would do anything for her happiness. I loved that he had all those little keepsakes even if there were mean notes lol. And the book he wrote was the cherry on top. Wonderful book loved every part of it. Cant wait to read about Xaviers brothers and sister.

I’m a bit disappointed with this one.

I really enjoyed Sierra and Xavier’s little rivalry throughout the series and I can’t lie and say it was everything I was expecting. I mean after they got married, the arguing didn’t last that long. It was like the whole thing was forgotten and boom, honeymoon phase.

And here’s the thing; the author has said that Xavier’s siblings will be getting a series of their own and that’s probably why there was this whole secrecy with what his family does and why it’s so bad but I feel like that left too many questions in this book. I am annoyed with Xavier’s whole back and forth. One minute he is practically worshiping the ground Sierra walks on, then he ignores her for weeks and then, she snaps and does something that he wasn’t expecting and he comes crawling back trying to win her back.

Also, another thing I hate that authors do is when family choose the love interest and not their own blood. I’m not saying that they shouldn’t scold him and whatever, but being with Sierra when Xavier was also going through stuff is just not it for me. And this scenario happens a lot in books; I mean love in law relationships and I’m all in for that but damn, that’s your son/brother!

Overall, I spend most of the book enraged with all the back and forth and whiplash that I got. I feel like the author had too many ideas she wanted to add in this but it’s a 300 page book, it did not end well. Everything was rushed or did not make sense.

This book had, has & will always have my heart 🩷

Pick it up if you want to read perfect enemies to lovers story that might occupy a piece of your heart

When I picked up "The Wrong Bride", I had no clue what I was getting into. I randomly picked up & the rest is history. I have been in love with all the stories @catharinamaura has written in this series. And This one! This one, I'm struck with words to express the love I have for Sierra & Xavier.

This Book was EVERYTHING.

It has been more than two weeks since I finished reading this one, yesterday when I went through my highlights I was again hit with all those emotions I felt for the first time I read them. I devoured each & every single word of this book.

Sierra, I love you! I will always. From the moment I got to know you, I have admired you & yearned that you get everything you deserve. There are few characters you fall in love with immediately without any reason & root for them rite? Sierra is one such character for me 🫶🏻

Being the youngest of the Windsor & the most badass woman you are perfect in every way. And the way you care for the people you love makes you the best.

Xavier, for the way you have loved Sierra for all the years, you have my heart. An enigma of ruthless business man & vulnerable human you were everything Sierra needed & deserved.

Sierra & Xavier's relationship OMG! What can I say?

From their playful yet jealousy induced banters to heated stares & touches to being partners their story was Perfect! Absolute Perfect combination of love, laugh & spice.

And adding to this perfection this book had so many things that made my heart melt & sob. From seeing all the Windsor's happily everafter to them standing by Sierra whenever she needed to Gran's letters. It was bittersweet to see gran for the last time. She has always had my heart, seeing her go felt personal :/

I'm seriously going to miss this series. But I could not have asked anything better than this book as the end for this series.

And I really can't wait to see Catharina Maura's next works. Now whatever she writes I will read ♥️
slow-paced

I got the chance to sit down and read this entire book in one sitting, and thank god I’m reading it in the dark with no one around to see me because I’m still crying and it’s been three minutes since I turned that last page.

Quite literally the entire series has led up to this story, it’s the one I’ve been most excited for and waiting a little impatiently to get for years now. I can’t believe that it’s done and the series has gotten the closure I always wanted it to have but also never wanted to it to have because now I have to move on and I’m not ready for that!

Also back to the tears, because Jesus!!!! I knew from the info we got in the last book a very likely event would happen, but I never realized just how hard it would be for me to read. And then I just never stopped crying for the rest of the book. Catharina you have nailed it once again, and for that I must give you a five star <3
