yk i love a good marriage of convenience. PLUS with the married couole hating each other?? i gobble that up. i just wished there was more of that: more banter, more pranks, more "enemieds". they also resolved too many of their issues by sleeping tgt instead of actually talking zo each other and i feel like that led to the final climax (pun intended) that escalated. the book had me gripping the bedsheets, laughing, and crying, so, plus points for that

I was waiting for this book ever since I started the series, I just knew when I read Raven and Ares's story that Sierra will end up with Xavier. So I loved reading their story.
I never expected the dark twist to the Kingston family's past, but I'm glad we had a glimpse into it.
I had so much fun reading this book, I felt so much happiness, I teared up and cried, my heart ached, and the relief that everything went well in the end.
I will miss all these characters and their stories, but I cannot wait to go into the stories of the Kingston siblings!

“I’ll never want you,” she snaps. “Not in a million years.”
I cup the back of her neck, my thumb brushing over her pulse point. “Then I’ll wait a million years and a day, Kitten. I’ll wait forever if I need to, so long as you understand that you’re mine as much as I’m yours.”
it’s honestly aspiring how author keeps writing the same exact story 6 books in a row and does not tire. no evolution. no character growth.

Xavier & Sierras relationship had me blushing!
When a man is planning his life with a girl for years! Its hard to not fall in love with them!

More on me than the book I guess, but I could not get into yet another book about billionaires who haven’t learnt how to communicate with each other. I was especially put off by how the author had the characters treat the “villain” from one of the earlier stories- aren’t we told to judge someone’s character by how they treat the help?!

Xavier and Sierra have been business rivals for years. But it’s all foreplay for their eventually merger through marriage. As threats come to light and things between them heat up, both of them must decide to move forward or if their pasts will end their future.
I really liked the two of them, but found Xavier to be extremely frustrating. I’m glad that in the end he chose their relationship and to get better. I really enjoyed that instead of being threatened by her love of books, he embraced it and found ways to connect with her through them.
Seeing the family again is always fun and the addition of the Kingston family was extra special.
