Took me 3-4 years but I finally finished it. A few really interesting chapters.

Very informative, but humorous. The book was very interesting and made me think about cadavers like I have never thought of them before.

The author's got an excellent sense of humor too, enjoyed this book very much.

Sobering, refreshing and funny.

Intensely interesting, in that I didn't want to stop reading even when it was so gross it made me feel sick. Definitely making me reconsider some of my preconceived notions about death and what I want done with my body after death. Might be willing my body to science now.

DID NOT FINISH: 70%

I enjoyed parts of this book. She lost me at the gross animal experimentation part of the book. I tried skipping to the next chapter, but found I just wasn’t into it anymore. it’s just a bit too light on the science for my taste. Not a recrimination of the author, just a preference.

This wasn’t bad, but I do prefer Caitlin Doughty’s books which are similar but don’t drag like this one does.
