This book was really cute and started off strong, but I spent most of it just frustrated. I know in part that was the point, but I don’t know if some of Teagan’s worries and anxieties hit too close to home or what but at some point I was just frustrated and not enjoying the story. I thought Darcy’s response to Teagan’s physical issues with intimacy was refreshing, but the whole plot line of her refusing to believe that Teagan wasn’t an alcoholic was just clumsy and became too much of everything the story hung on. I felt unsatisfied by the ending. I wanted it more polished, I guess? Was Rose actually good or bad? What’s really happening with Nora? What happens with the foundation now, since it was left to Teagan? Did Sloane get the help she needed?
