Smarter Faster Better is an engaging read filled with helpful tools designed to help you set goals, be a more inclusive and supportive team member, and remind you to consider changing your perspective so that you may ultimately increase productivity. I listened to this one, and the best way for me to absorb this type of material is to both listen and read adding notes in the margins. I look forward to revisiting this one when I purchase my own physical copy.
I'm definitely going to immediately change the way I approach goal setting and getting things done. I see some positive and na gesture reviews so the book isn't for everyone. We all want to get more of the big, ground breaking things done and less f the mundane. I strongly suggest you give this book a try, it's a pretty short read

Loved it!
It's sharp, it's crisp and easy to digest. Charles Duhigg takes the over-abused topic of productivity and tries to distill it down to 8 core principles.
The book follows a story format where every lesson that Charles wants to teach you, is in form of a story of something/someone real, which makes it extremely relatable.
I found me (successfully) implementing his findings, even before the book has ended. Towards the end of the book, he even adds a portion where he shows how he applied the principles discussed in the book, while writing the book.
In the conclusion I'd like to say that it's a really good read and not stressful at all. Pick it up and you won't stop till you finish it and then you'll want to read it again. (I'll be starting it again next week)

I'm not the target audience but for a time I did go on a sprint of reading self-help books and this is one I picked up. It's all about how we can maximize productivity and achieve more. The author sources his material from findings in behavioral economics and psychology and tells anecdotes from very productive people like CEOs, four-star generals, airplane pilots, etc. Quite fun read.
Lots of great ideas for how to improve (many of which actually seem achievable). I especially enjoyed the information about what makes teams work most effectively.
Really interesting ideas. Probably could listen to this a few times to get more out of it. Or read it instead of listen to it.
