I won this book in a GoodReads Giveaway. The blurb about the book sounded interesting but I found the characters uninteresting and annoying given the topic. I thought there would be more suspense but the story moved very slowly and I found myself wishing it would just get to the end.

The low rating is partially my own fault, I did not do enough research on this book. The book is set in Europe, and written as such. The punctuation for dialog was hard to follow due to this. Besides this, the book was too descriptive of things that did not matter, more in ways of what each character thought then actually piecing together the story. There were many cliff hangers and unresolved issues that kept me guessing. It took forever to get to the “big lie” and that was a let down as well. There are many lies within the story and if you enjoy slow paced thrillers then this may be the book for you.

I got to chapter 21 and nothing- I mean NOTHING happened. There was so much potential and I was left completely disappointed.
This book captured me until about halfway, when I realised the 'whoddunit' was not as smart & calculated as the first half of the books suggested.
