The book was very tense.  You know something happened during Abigail's kidnapping that wasn't told to the police but you aren't sure what it was until near the end so it kept me on the edge of my seat!  Overall, a suspenseful story.

Listened to Audiobook - interesting story about a teenager returning to her family after being kidnapped 7 years prior. Not that fast paced, but the odd twist and turn along the way.

Read by our book group (2 GPs included!) and overall thought it a good opportunity lost. We were all very surprised to find that the author has a degree in psychology - you would never have guessed it as so much was left out of how the abductee and family were affected by what could only have been an extremely traumatic event. And there were not little white lies, just great big whoppers! Pretty much underwhelming stuff.
