I really loved this comic I could also see some of these stories becoming an actual episode on the show. Although for some reason with the little bonus comic strips at the end I feel like the art style changed all of a sudden I don’t know if it has two different artists but I kind of made me wonder about the art style in the next books.

Not as filthy as the show, but features the same inventive and just-slightly-meta storylines that I've come to expect from the animated series.

Humor, dark. I have been watching the TV series and this was on Comixology so I gave it a quick read. I think I like watching the cartoon better.

Well that didn't take as long as I thought it would to read. But it was swifty. I loved it. It definitely helps watching the television series first to see how the characters interact with each other and how they speak, Rick in particular with his burping. But it was still great. I loved the bonus shorts at the end, especially 'Rick and Morty in: Adventure to an Alternative Universe!' their faces at the end though :')

Most TV to comic adaptations suck. This one is not so bad and I could see the writers getting better as this title goes on.

What really helps this comic is the conceit of "infinite timelines" that Rick and Morty have. As a result, the comics can focus on a Rick and Morty from another dimension and not have to worry about their stories clashing with "canon" of the TV series or any developments that occur their. This frees up the writers and the readers equally, since we do not have to wonder where any of this would occur within the framework of the show.
