May Archer is always good for ridiculous, but oh so cosy town shenanigans and cute romance, and this was no exception. I liked this book more than Pick Me. Webb and Luke were both adorable in their own way and the way their relationship developed felt natural and was very cute. The Sunday family is wonderful and I absolutely adored little Aiden. I look forward to reading more about the Sundays, especially about Hawk and Jack, who seem to be up next.

Book 2 in the Sunday Brothers series brings us back to the small town of Little Pippin Hollow and this time it's the eldest Sunday brother Webb who's gone and fallen in love. After his disastrous first marriage Webb isn't looking to ever get hitched again, and I'm sure he didn't expect if he ever did it was going to be with his son Aiden's beloved teacher Mr. Williams. How it all came about was hilarious and reminded me how much I love books by May Archer. They always contain such swoonworthy moments interspersed with outright zaney humour that I can't help but smile while reading.

The pull between Luke and Webb was so fun to read while they are both trying to convince themselves they weren't falling in love. The fact that the entire Sunday family wasn't fooled for a second and of course teased them mercilessly was an added bonus. Aiden was adorable and he truly stole the show during his scenes. Wise beyond his years that one.

“Dad says love isn’t a thing you say, it’s a thing you do. He says love means showing up for people when you say you will.”

The ending was sweet and perfect for the book. I really enjoyed the epilogue and hearing how happy Luke and Webb were even months later. The little tease of the next couple was also great and I definitely think Jack is in for it when it comes to Hawk Sunday. I heartily look forward to his downfall.

Loved this from beginning to end. It wasn't absolutely perfect - the ending, tying up the loose ends, was a bit clunky perhaps. However I can forgive that because there was so much fun and romance mixed in with comedy. It was kinda ludicrous which I loved.

Webb (single father to Aidan) and schoolteacher Luke are enemies who have far too much to drink, and blow a bugle but unbeknowst to them this is a local custom such that it ties them in marriage if they complete various oaths..

When I heard the list of oaths I knew the book was going to be a fun ride! It's very silly, kinda clever, and the audible narration was good and certainly helped the story.

Will probably read again, as I loved the characters and the bi-awakening for Webb was a bit different to others - low angst and high heat!

Amazingly, delightfully, cutely … ugh, just all the -ly’s … GOOD!

I already loved Webb’s sweet, grumpy, protective nature from Pick Me and I especially loved getting to know him better in his own love story. Luke is adorably nerdy, a little bit of a mess, and trying so hard to stay positive, dreaming of his happily ever after.

The betrothal and all the following antics should have seemed a bit ridiculous, but as always, Archer knows just how to weave the tale so that you’re swept up in the novelty of it all, laughing and in love with love along with all the others.

Sweet, silly, hot, and just so much fun.
