Rating: 5/5 stars.

SO GOOD, and I may never emotionally recover. I did the tandem read, which means I read this book at the same time as <I>Tower of Dawn</I>, and I absolutely LOVED it. I don’t know of any other series that offers this experience and it was such a cool way to see the various plot lines and character arcs weave together.

My only issue with this book is that there were just a few too many hand-wavy “oh yeah we decided this totally major thing in secret” moments without any sort of indication they’d occurred. Aside from that, this is the best book in the series so far by a long shot.
