It just keeps getting better! This is the best book so far in the series, and that is saying something, as most of the books in Throne of Glass are 4 to 5 stars. I can’t wait to read the last two!

Amazing book from beginning to end. the writing in this book was absolutely incredible, probably has to be my favorite out of the series along with Queen of Shadows. The way that everything starts to come together and make sense especially in those last 100 pages… The ending was absolutely heart wrenching I will say, definitely was left in tears. Onto the last ten chapters of TOD. No regrets in doing the tandem read!

this is definitely the best book of the series so far. i loved the character relationship building in this. the first 1/4 of the book they had some really good pairings doing some side quests and i really liked the banter they had going on throughout that section. i really feel like this book did a lot better job of showingvthe relationship between rowan and aelin growing.
don’t even get me started on manon and dorian!!!! i love that so much.
but omg THAT TWIST. i’m extremely excited to read kingdom of ash (less excited to read tower of dawn with chaol lmao).
