It was my first time ever reading manga (glad they had "reading directions" cos I had no idea what I was supposed to do) so I don't have anything to compare it to but I absolutely loved the story, the world building and the interactions between the two characters.

Exactly like the cover says: a quiet fairy tale. My first manga. Took a bit getting used to it but once I figured it out, it was a quick read.
Sooo cute! I adore the art style aswell, it’s seems simplistic but detailed at the same time.
Deceptively cute. With each volume, the fairytale-esque story unravels, showing that even the light must has its darkness. Very easy to dive into and crave more.
I'm a big fan of The Ancient Magus Bride so this piqued my interest right away. The art is very soft and beautiful and the story moves at the perfect pace with enough elements to feel like a Grimm fairy tale. Can't wait for the next volume
