I'm no longer in the habit of reading manga; I read this for Storygraph's 2024 genre challenge, in order to broaden my horizon. But yeah, now I'm hooked. The atmosphere is beautifully eerie, and of course, we can already intuit who the real monsters are. It's giving me Nightbreed vibes. I will now order the rest of the available books.

The only reason why uts not getting a 4 is because it's only the first volume so it has so much potential, but so far it was really good. I love the dark vibes and the art style is just perfect. Can't wait to pick up volume 2!

I haven't been this destroyed and invested in the mystery and characters of a manga since land of the lustrous. my god this was so good. I genuinely have no words.
the art is beautiful, the story keeps you in the dark throughout but still manages to make everything wrap up nicely and with it making sense by the end. it's beautiful. so so lovely my god

I don’t read much manga but this caught my eye. It’s beautifully illustrated. I’m intrigued to see where it goes after this volume.
