The story line can feel abrupt at times, particularly at (what I would consider) the climax of the story. A really entertaining thriller, nonetheless. Some content is exceptionally disturbing… worth considering before adding to your list. Really interesting plot with themes that have not been overdone in many thrillers before.

I did myself a disservice by watching the HBO series a few years ago before reading this one. The show stuck with me and I’ve always wanted to come back to the book, which was a treat.

Overall, a quick and solid add to your shelf if you are looking for a thriller to keep you guessing.
