I knew I would get to the Rina Verse eventually and I finally did!
I am a sucker for books on the darker side on romance and I knew Rina Kent was an author I had to try!
After looking at her website I started my Rina Verse journey with Deviant King. As a reader who never leaned towards the "bullying" trope, this was a difficult book to start. The first 1/4-1/2 of the book was quite intense when it came to the bullying between Aiden and Elsa. I wasn't sure if I wanted to carry on. BUT, after the little sneak peaks and tit bits into their pasts, I knew I had to find out more.
When I started this series I assumed this was the only book about Elsa and Aiden. The ending!!! I was hooked on not only their story but the stories of all the other characters as well.
The bullying trope still isn't my favourite but it did grow on me throughout this book.
I did wish this book was dual POV (and I'm glad the others in this series are!)
